(Specialists) Automatic Addition of Annexe 29 Contextual Elements

Annexe 29, which sets out the remuneration rules for specialist physicians practicing in designated intensive care units, requires that a specific contextual element be added to all services billed during a period of unit management (prise en charge d'unité) or unit on-call coverage (garde en disponibilité). The appropriate contextual element can be added automatically by Xacte by following the procedures below.

Procedure for Premium users

  1. Enter all billing for the selected day within a single grid.

  2. At the top of the grid, click the arrow to the right of the Save/Validate the grid button, then select Save/Validate all.

  3. Modified cells will appear in blue, indicating that an automatic addition has been made. To verify that the correct contextual element has been added to a claim, you can click the relevant cell and review the message at the bottom of the grid, or check the grey box located beneath the act bar.

👉 If nothing happens when clicking Save/Validate All, refresh your browser page and try again.

Temporary procedure for Autonomous users

For Autonomous users, the Save/Validate All button is not yet available. They must therefore follow the procedure below for the time being.

This button will be made available to all users at a later date. Once this update is deployed, the procedure currently used by Premium users will apply to everyone.

  1. Enter all billing for the selected day within a single grid.

  2. Starting with the line that contains your unit management or on-call coverage fee, force a new save on each line of the grid. To do so, select a line, then click the floppy disk icon or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S (PC) or Control+S (Mac). Repeat this action for each line.

  3. Modified cells will appear in blue, indicating that an automatic addition has been made. To verify that the correct contextual element has been added to a claim, you can click the relevant cell and review the message at the bottom of the grid, or check the grey box located beneath the act bar.
