Annexe 29, which sets out the remuneration rules for specialist physicians practicing in designated intensive care units, requires that a specific contextual element be added to all services billed during a period of unit management (prise en charge d'unité) or unit on-call coverage (garde en disponibilité). The appropriate contextual element can be added automatically by Xacte by following the procedure below.
Enter all billing for the selected day within a single grid.
At the top of the grid, click the arrow to the right of the Save/Validate the grid button, then select Save/Validate all.
Modified cells will appear in blue, indicating that an automatic addition has been made. To verify that the correct contextual element has been added to a claim, you can click the relevant cell and review the message at the bottom of the grid, or check the grey box located beneath the act bar.
